  5. days before Christmas, Richard Blackwell, the noted purveyor of
  6. worst-dressed lists, carped that the Duchess of York, the former
  7. Sarah Ferguson, looked "as if she makes beds in Ireland, or
  8. milks cows." The remarks came as the newly svelte Fergie was
  9. having daughter Beatrice christened last week. The tabloids,
  10. merciless till recently about the duchess's pudginess, leaped to
  11. defend her. WHAT A JERK, howled the Sun. The Daily Mirror railed
  12. that Blackwell was not one to point fingers, having had four
  13. face-lifts. No need for a fifth -- off with his head!
